Just a quick update on me: I am out of the hospital and recovering at home for a couple of days after my surgery. The urologist told me that he found what he called “irregularities”, and he took some tissue samples for a biopsy. I will have to wait 2-4 weeks for the results of the biopsy, after which we will decide what to do next.
Many of you took the time to send me messages of support, for which I am extremely grateful and touched. Thank you. Wagner James Au even blogged about me on his long-running blog New World Notes!
And yes, I am still going ahead with my project to leave my Second Life avatars to other people in my will (here’s the list of who needs “adopting”). So far I have received expressions of interest from around a dozen people, whom I will be getting in touch with for more in-depth conversations later on in October, once I’ve had a chance to catch my breath.
And, depending on how I feel, I may start blogging again! Watch this space 🙂
