Hopefully, you have already established a sort of regular rhythm with your Advent Calendar freebie shopping at your favourite Second Life stores. Teleport in, grab that day’s freebie, teleport to the next advent calendar, repeat.
To add to that routine, the 12 Days of Christmas calendars are starting up soon! Note that some store calendars start on Dec. 12th, while others start on Dec. 13th, and still others still on Dec. 14th! In fact, one calendar (the eBento event) has already started on Dec. 10th! So pay attention or you’ll miss out on some free items.
Here are eight Second Life stores which consistently offer really great 12 Days of Christmas gifts:
- The eBento Event started on Dec. 10th and runs until the 25th, with free gifts each day, usually things like makeup and beard appliers, etc. You can find the calendar dates running along the roof of the event pavilion.
- The Baby Monkey calendar runs from Dec. 13th-24th and is free each day, and L$10 each if you missed a day. As in previous years, each gift comes with a 3 colour HUD, and the all the gifts together form a complete capsule wardrobe as shown here:
- Dark Water Designs/Dark Knight Decor begins Dec. 13th, with free daily items for both men and women. They often have some lovely clothes!
- Altamura has a 12 Days of Christmas calendar starting Dec. 12th, with a gift every day (this calendar requires you to join the Altamura group for L$50). Apparently, Altamura will be offering both male and female Bento mesh heads as gifts on Dec. 24th, so join up now and grab all the goodies!
- Chop Zuey jewelry store starts its 12 Days of Christmas event on Dec. 12th (you do need to join the Chop Zuey group for L$350 to take part).
- Essenz shoe store has a 12 Days of Christmas event (if you missed their free join period, it will now cost you L$350 to join their group in order to take part).
- JUMO will be giving away gifts from Dec. 12th-Dec. 24th, as well as on New Year’s Eve.
- Zuri Jewelry’s 12 Days of Christmas calendar runs from Dec. 13th-Dec. 24th (you need to join the group for L$299 to take part in this event).
