Second Life Steals, Deals, and Freebies: New Group Gifts from Nuve!

If you want even more news about fabulous freebies and bargains in Second Life than what I write about in this blog, may I recommend the Second Life group I maintain, called the RyanSchultz.com Steals, Deals & Freebies group? The group costs only L$50 to join; more information here.

If you have a LeLutka Evo X or an Akeruka ADVX female mesh head on your avatar, then do I have a sweet deal for you! Join the Nuve group (it’s currently free, for a limited time), and slap the vendor panels under the VIP Gifts sign to pick up a fatpack of Hailey skin, plus a fatpack of Hailey eyebrows, and a fatpack of lipsticks!

Nuve skins include both the head and body skin, in 15 different skintones, each in versions with and without the eyebrows (there’s also a box in the folder to unpack to get the matching ear skins). The Hailey eyebrow fatpack includes tintable eyebrows in six colours (white, blonde, ginger, red, brown, and black) to use with the browless version of the Hailey skin. The Hailey lip tint fatpack includes 16 shades of pink and red, plus two shades of grey, which you can tint any colour you wish!

But wait, there’s more! MUCH more! On the wall behind the front counter of the Nuve store are all the previous group gifts, which include human and fantasy skins for Catwa HDPRO, Genus, LeLutka Evolution classic, and LeLutka Evo X heads, plus eyebrows, eye shadows, eyeliners, and lipsticks. Among these gifts is the Amanda skin, which like the Hailey skin is a complete fatpack with 15 different skintones!

Please note that, according to the Nuve group notices, there is a notice dated Sept. 10th, 2022:

Our VIP group will be free for 3 days only. So if you have friends on a budget, spread the word.

So, hurry down, join the Nuve group while it is still free, and snap up the fabulous freebies! Also, in an earlier group notice, I learned that the store is giving away free weekly store credit:

Y’all keep forgetting to click the reward terminal! So, this is just a reminder. Reward terminal is at the reception desk (tablet on the desk). You can receive L$75 of store credit every week. Terminal resets every Monday.

Store credit accumulates, you won’t lose it. It can be used on every product at [the] mainstore, except products released exclusively in weekend sales.

Here’s where you can find that VIP reward terminal in the store, right next to an assortment of free gifts for everybody who drops by (no group join is required; they are mostly skin tints and Windlight/EEP settings):

This is what the Hailey skin looks like (this avatar is wearing the ivory skin tone, with the blonde Hailey eyebrows and one of the redder Hailey lip tints).

Looking this stunning for zero Linden dollars? Sign me up, honey!

Other styling credits:

TOTAL COST FOR THIS ENTIRE AVATAR LOOK: Only L$250 (for the Atenea Bakes on Mesh kit, but I’m pretty sure I bought it for L$197 back in the day).

So, as you can see, joining the Nuve store group is a no-brainer! The proprietor is very smart to find a way to get potential customers coming into her store every week. And I will definitely join store groups where they give out free credit to group members every week or every month!

Happy freebie shopping! 😉

Second Life Steals, Deals, and Freebies: 26 Free Group Gifts and a L$500 Gift Card at Brillancia!

A new womenswear store has opened in Second Life, called Brillancia (SLURL). The Brillancia group is free to join, and among the 27 group gifts you can pick up, there is a L$500 gift card!

The group gift wall at Brillancia

And you can put that gift card to immediate use on any of Brillancia’s ample stock of womenswear for your avatar! I chose this beautiful brocade Valery dress, which comes in eight different colours (black, white, pink, red, maroon, beige, chocolate, and blue). The Valery dress comes in sizes to fit the following mesh bodies: Maitreya Lara and Petite; Meshbody Legacy and Perky; INITHIUM Kupra and Kups; and eBody Reborn. With your L$500 gift card activated, you can pick up two colours for free!

The dress even comes with an optional shimmer/sparkle attachment! Here’s a short video clip demonstrating it:

Another option is this Nataly party dress, which comes in eight different colours as shown in the image below (sizes: Maitreya Lara and Petite; Meshbody Legacy and Perky; INITHIUM Kupra and Kups; and Belleza Freya). At L$250 each, you can use your free gift card to snap up two different colours!

According to a notice posted to the Brillancia group:

Hello everyone, the gift card will be valid until March 8th. After March 8th, the group will become paid. And I will systematically organize sales and gift cards for the group members! Therefore, if you have friends who have not used the card yet, invite them to us. Also, a new group gift is waiting for you soon!

So, hurry on down to pick up your group gifts, plus the L$500 gift card, before it’s gone, and you have to pay to join the Brillancia group!

P.S. The Brillancia gift card is transferable, if you rez it on Second Life land where you have build rights, wait for it to initialize, then take it back into your inventory. Then you can give it to a friend (or an alt 😉 )…

Second Life Steals, Deals, and Freebies: Pick Up 98 Group Gifts for L$50 from Safira!

Safira is a Second Life womenswear store known for its fun and colourful fashion, but did you know that they have a huge group gift room as well? If you join the Safira store group for just L$50, you can pick up no less than ninety-eight free group gifts!

Today, Second Life supermodel Moesha Heartsong will show you a few of the group gifts you can snap up! The Shawn dress in pink with tiny red hearts comes with an optional white harness, and Moesha is wearing it with another Safira group gift, the Lola heels with socks (also with tiny red hearts!). Both the dress and the shoes come in sizes to fit the Maitreya, Legacy, Hourglass, Freya, and Isis mesh bodies.

The Roxanne bodysuit comes in Maitreya and Hourglass sizes, and with a HUD featuring a complete array of mix-and-match colours for the top and pants (you can tint the belt separately). The Annie ribbon choker which Moesha is wearing is a free gift from Pretty Deceased, which also comes with a fatpack HUD (no group needed for the choker; just teleport here and click on the gift box on the floor!).

Along with the Annie ribbon choker in a different colour, Moesha models the Ellie knotted top, which comes in a complete fatpack of solid colours and floral textures (Maitreya, Legacy, Freya, Isis, Hourglass), paired with the Aiden floral jean shorts (Maitreya, Legacy, Freya, Isis).

The simple, beautiful Zenda dress comes in a fatpack of ten different colours and textures (sizes: Maitreya; Belleza Freya and Isis; Slink Hourglass and Physique).

This Renee bodycon knit dress comes in four different textures, and the optional belt has three options (sizes: Maitreya, Freya, Isis, and Hourglass).

The aptly-named Summer minidress comes in three different tropical textures as shown below (Maitreya, Freya, Isis, and Hourglasss sizes)—perfect for your next virtual resort vacation!

These are just eight of the 98 group gifts available from Safira for only L$50, which works out to half a Linden dollar per outfit—a bargain under any circumstances!

Here’s your taxi to the group gift section at the Safira store. I will be adding Safira to my constantly-updated Guide to Freebie Shopping in Second Life.

Second Life Steals, Deals, and Freebies: Free Outfits, Accessories, Weapons, and Vehicles from ECHELON!

Second Life is home to many combat roleplay communities, as well as science fiction roleplay. ECHELON is a store which caters to these players with outfits, accessories, weapons, and even vehicles, and they are generously giving away a HUGE collection of such items for absolutely FREE! Just teleport to the store, join the – E C H E L O N – group for free, and click on the rotating white sign in the middle of the store:

There are no less than sixty-five separate gifts in the box you receive, a wide variety of outfits, weapons, and other objects (there’s even a cup of tea with a Bento hold pose!). Let’s start with the outfits first.

Please note that all these outfits (except where noted) include system clothing layers, which are intended for classic, system avatars and Bakes on Mesh-compatible mesh bodies, like version 3.0 of the Belleza Jake body this male avatar is wearing. (By the way, Belleza is still running their 50% off sale on the Jake, Isis, Venus, and Freya mesh bodies! It’s a real bargain, but I honestly don’t know how long this sale will last, so if you are shopping for a high-quality male or female mesh body, don’t delay!)

If you’re a fan of Star Wars roleplay—or if you just feel like strolling around Second Life dressed as a kick-ass Mandalorian!—feast your eyes on this complete set of Alorian armour, courtesy of ECHELON! The package even includes a special animation override (AO) with three sets of animations you can easily switch between during your roleplay: stand-by, sneaking, and combat. (There’s also a separate Alorian jet pack in the ECHELON gift box; it’s not shown in this picture.)

There are four different versions of this Imperial Soldier outfit (white, red, blue, and special forces), and the helmet comes in versions with and without the glow, as well as a chestplate variation for female stormtroopers!

IF you’d rather be a samurai, there’s a complete samurai outfit with armour:

This seven-piece medieval armour set is suitable for historical roleplay purposes (please note that the system/Bakes on Mesh clothing and the boots pictured below are NOT included in this package; I just rummaged around in my existing inventory for something suitable to wear with the armour):

Now let’s turn to accessories. Below are pictured two gifts, the aptly-named Crown of Light and the floating, rotating Heroic Heirloom (both are fully modifiable, so you can adjust the colour and the glow of each as you wish to match your outfit):

The Duality Mask domes in seven different versions, and is also completely modifiable:

And, as expected, there are weapons galore in the ECHELON gift box! All weapons include both stashed and deployed versions, as well as gestures which you can load and activate for your avatar to draw and sling them during battle.

First up is the AKG Assault Rifle, which comes in versions with or without the silencer:

The Slayer Sword is just the ticket to get you out of a tight spot in any fantasy battle!

The Big Heckin’ Gun is well named, as you can see!

Here my avatar is armed with a sci-fi laser rifle (there’s also a pistol, as well as all the gestures to swap between the two as needed):

And if you’re old school, how about this Dungeon Raider Halberd? There’s truly something for everyone in the ECHELON gift box.

But wait, there’s more! There are also a number of science fiction vehicles in the gift box. Here are just two, the Corvus Jetbike and the Land Cruiser hover vehicle:

So, if you are into fantasy, historical, or combat roleplay and gaming in Second Life, you owe it to yourself to drop by ECHELON and pick up this truly generous gift before it’s gone! Here is your taxi. Happy freebie shopping!
