Thank You

I just wanted to reach out and express my appreciation to everybody who took the time to contact me in various ways (email, Twitter, public and private messages on Discord, the Contact page on my blog. etc.) as I have been struggling with my clinical depression these past few weeks (which I talk about here). Your love and encouragement mean the world to me at a difficult time, and I feel grateful to have such support from so many different corners of the virtual world. I might not have responded to each and every message you sent me, but I do want to say to everyone: Thank you!

  1. Very good to see you back. Understand all about the clinical depression and lack of motivation thing regarding your mission statement, as I’ve got that in RL too. Stay strong. Your blog can be a place to unload within reason, discuss, rearrange and get your thoughts in order — it’s good putting them on paper to clarify perspectives: thoughts kept locked up in the head tend to jumble up and get messy and toxic. Explaining things outloud, to yourself or an audience, is one of the best ways to straighten them out (hence presentations!). And caring feedback from your blog readers is a very real source of support and comfort. Keep writing, we’re here for you. 🙂
