I wanted to alert my blog readers to a free Easter egg hunt in Second Life, where you can pick up both some nice outfits and some great home and garden items.
To get started, teleport here, and click on one of the two Good Eggs Hunt signs:
You will receive a wearable Easter basket, and a HUD which gives you the locations of all the stores participating in this hunt. There are six different colours of eggs at each store for you to find, and all of the hunt prizes are free!
Everything Vanity Fair is wearing in the picture below is a hunt prize from Poème: top, skirt, sandals, the funky sunglasses—even the earrings, which come in silver and gold versions!
In the next picture, Vanity is modeling two hunt prizes in her 1950s kitchen: the Celebrate Spring retro dress from Cog & Fleur (which comes with an eight-colour HUD and optional sheer flexiprim overskirt, which is quite lovely), and the Blair pumps in pink from Lindy Modern & Retro Shoes. Lindy has six Easter eggs to find, and each contains pink women’s shoes in various styles (although in this picture, for some reason they are looking a tad on the purple side!):
The Good Eggs Hunt will end on Sunday, April 12th at 12:00 p.m. Second Life Time/Pacific Time, so please don’t wait! Happy hunting!
I missed this Product Meetup due to various virtual work meetings today, so I am just now watching the livestream on Twitch in order to get caught up.
Daisy Gator also livestreamed today’s meeting (thanks, Daisy!):
One of the big pieces of news is that Sansar is actually planning to work on support for mobile devices (both Android and iOS): “I think that the intent is to be a steaming service, so you’ll be streaming Sansar to your phone rather than rendering directly on your phone.” (In response to a question, Sansar is not working on support for the Oculus Quest VR headset.)
Another piece of news is that Sansar’s popular community manager, Galileo, found another job during the hiatus (with the company making the game War Dragons), and this week is his last. Lacie will be the new Sansar community manager.
Galileo left us the following thank you video:
As I expected, body sliders on the avatars is not a priority. The focus will continue to be on events: “Our plan is to get these huge events going with tons, thousands of people, hopefully, in here.”
Sansar will remain PG13; there are no plans to allow adult content.
As far as the team knows, the existing collaboration with Marvelous Designer will continue.
With respect to Sansar’s availability via Steam (which I think has been a disaster), they are currently looking at the situation. So there are no details yet on whether or not Sansar will stay on Steam.
I understand that Inara Pey was at this Product Meetup, and I look forward to seeing her usual detailed notes. When she posts them on her blog, I will link to them here.

This blogpost is sponsored by Sinespace, and was written in my role as an embedded reporter for this virtual world (more details here).
Sansar will be having their first Product Meetup, since Linden Lab sold the social VR platform to Wookey, today.
I will, unfortunately, not be able to attend this meeting as I have virtual work meetings (via Webex from home) to attend, but the community manager Galileo and the rest of the Sansar/Wookey (Sookey? Sankey? Woosar? Wansar?) team will be there:
Sansar is back! We’ll be discussing Wookey, new things, updated roadmap/focus, plus another important announcement!
