It’s a cruel, (cruel), cruel summer

It’s a cruel, (it’s a cruel), cruel summer
Now you’re gone…
I turned sixteen years old in 1980, and I am so totally a child of the Eighties!
There’s a retro, 1980s-themed hunt taking place from now until June 14th, 2020, called the Cruel Summer Hunt. You are searching for neon Rubik’s Cubes hidden away in various parts of downtown Miami. Here are the hunt keys from the participating stores, so you know what you’ll get before you buy each item. Prizes range in price from free up to L$50 each.
Here are three of the hunt prizes, all from FurtaCor: this fun yellow top, the high-waisted red shorts, and the rollerskates (which come with an applier HUD for the socks and sleeves) were all only L$25 each!

The roller skates have a built-in skating animation, but I found that it was a low-priority animation, which meant that the walks on my regular AO quickly overrode it. Other than that, it’s a cute, retro outfit with a definite Eighties vibe!
So head on down to the Cruel Summer Hunt before it ends June 14th!
I really hope someone will start to make good low priority AO animations (priority 2) and I’d happily replace those I have too. After all, the only thing an AO has to override is the internal animations (priority 0, while internal emotes are priority 1). Instead they make our life harder with priority 4, 5, 6 AOs, that override also furniture sits, drinks, bags, vehicles, and… roller skates. LOL.
The prize looks cute! 🙂
