A ninja (忍者) or shinobi (忍び) was a covert agent or mercenary in feudal Japan. The functions of the ninja included espionage, sabotage, infiltration, assassination and guerrilla warfare (Wikipedia). Three talented Sansar creators have made beautiful outfits for sale, for those days when you feel like channeling your inner ninja.
For women, there are two options for ninja wear. First up is the basic black Ninja Outfit – Female by Debi Baskerville, for S$99:
You can pair it with the Katana for Sansar Female by Ralph Vintorix (S$50) and you’re good to go!
Another option for women is the wonderfully detailed Onna-bugeisha / Ninja Top – Female and matching Onna-bugeisha / Ninja Pants -Female by Nya Alchemi (S$100 each). Add Nya’s Ninja Star Hat – Female to the outfit for S$75 and you’re all set!
Here’s Vanity Fair in Nya Alchemi’s ninja outfit:
For men, Ralph Vintorix has created a Classic Authentic Ninja Suit, which sells for S$450 and includes:
Kyahan (leg wrap)
Tekko (hand protection)
Tabi boots are available as a separate item (S$100) and is not included.
Katana and Pouch are free items.

Here’s the perfect thing to wear to your next outing to the disco! Vassay has created a shining one-piece outfit with a hood, textured with an animated pattern:
And you can pick it up at the Sansar Store for only S$100!
Here’s Vanity Fair wearing her disco hoodie at Galen’s Clockworks Club! The metallic materials on this outfit really reflect the lights around you!
Debi Baskerville has been churning out the avatar fashion in Sansar! Her store, called Journey, is full of creative and fashionable designs for both male and female avatars:
The following outfit I saw Debi wearing at our most recent Atlas Hopping, and I liked it so much I bought it for Vanity Fair!

As Sansar’s first (and so far, only) fashion blogger, I have made it my mission to tell you all about the best fashions available in Sansar for your avatar.
Solas NaGealai, who is a well-known fashion designer in Second Life as the owner of BlueMoon Enterprise (SL store, blog) and the co-owner of Silvan Moon Designs (SL Store, SL Marketplace, Flickr), is one of my favourite avatar clothing designers. She puts a lot of time, energy, and talent into her clothing designs, and I wanted to showcase a few items that she is generously giving away for free from her store (her Sansar brand is called Lune Bleue).
First up is the beautifully detailed Lady Juliana Medieval Gown, which Vanity Fair is wearing at Nya Alchemi’s medieval tournament experience, S.L.A.R.P.:
And, on the other end of the spectrum, we have Solas’ striped goth top and matching layer skirt, to which I have added black wristbands by C3rb3rus (free!) and black Eden Bailarina flats by Kokoia (for sale for S$150, which works out to about US$1.50/CDN$1.89; click on each of the pictures below to see it in a larger size):
Then, I have switched it up a bit by taking off the wristbands and adding black sunglasses by Snow (also free!) and a goth nose chain by Agustine (S$65, or about 65 cents U.S./82 cents Canadian):
Be sure to pick up your freebies on the Sansar Store. Whether you are a medieval troubadour or a gothic rocker, Solas has got you covered!
