Outfit Outlay: First Clothing by Solas

It hasn’t even been 24 hours yet, and designers are already busy releasing sample clothing (created using the Marvelous Designer software) since yesterday’s Fashion Release update of Sansar!

Solas NaGealai (who is already a well-known fashion designer in Second Life as the owner of BlueMoon Enterprise (SL storeblog) and the co-owner of Silvan Moon Designs (SL StoreSL MarketplaceFlickr) has put a couple of free items of clothing up in the Sansar Store, for you to play with and learn how to adjust clothing in the new “Lookbook” (avatar preview module) of the Sansar client software.

There’s a simple white (untextured) top:

And a white skirt:

And here’s a shot of Vanity Fair, Sansar supermodel 😉 , wearing Solas’ items in my own Ryan’s Garden experience:

Outfit Outlay: Toga Party!

My first Outfit Outlay post since the Fashion Release of Sansar yesterday! There has been excited chatter all night on the official Sansar Discord channel as people try out the Marvelous Designer software and post pictures of their creations.

Well, once again, I should have predicted this one! Aojashin has made both male and female togas and made them available for free on the Sansar Store:

And, as with all Marvelous Designer-created clothing, you can adjust the togas to suit your individual tastes:

Veni, vidi, togam gerebant!

(I came, I saw, I wore a toga!)

Old Sansar Studios Outfits Have Been Removed from the Sansar Store

Outfit Outlay Cowgirl 2 August 2017

Some fashion news in Sansar!

Well, my plea to release the outfits was ignored by Linden Lab.

But a sharp-eyed user has noticed that Linden Lab has removed all the outfits created by Sansar Studios, that were once listed in the Sansar Store! Go ahead, take a look for yourself. They’re gone.

I can only assume that this means that when they do release the new fashion market (apparently still on target to be released before the end of this year, according to Jenn), that the old outfits will no longer work.

That’s a shame for those people (like me) who spent Sansar dollars on fashion that will soon be obsolete. But it’s still exciting to anticipate new outfits with cloth physics enabled, as has been promised by Bjorn and others at Linden Lab!
