31 Days of Vanity Fair: A Look Back at Sansar Fashions Since Dec. 18th

Tonight I wanted to show you all of the saved outfits of my “Sansar supermodel” Vanity Fair—all 31 of them! This is like a history lesson in Sansar costuming, and these are some of my favourite costumes since the official launch of the fashion market in Sansar on December 18th, 2017. (Click on each of the images to see it in a larger size.)

Second Life Fashion Portfolio: Six Gowns from Silvan Moon Designs by Bee Dumpling and Solas NaGealai

I wanted to show off all the beautiful gowns I recently bought from Silvan Moon Designs (SL StoreSL MarketplaceFlickr), both the special designs available at their booth on the Aetherea sim of the current Fantasy Faire, and at their regular store on the Emerald sim! Bee Dumpling and Solas NaGealai, the owners of Silvan Moon Designs, do such outstanding work that I wanted everybody to see them!

Here’s a couple of pictures of Vanity Fair in the wonderful Le Carnivale Baroque gown in blush I bought at Aetherea (please click on each picture to see a larger version):

And here’s Vanity Fair in the Relay for Life special I also bought at Aetherea, called the Lady of Shalot in sapphire blue:

Here my medieval roleplay avatar, Scarborough Fair, is wearing the lovely Lady Ariana gown in white (click each picture for a larger size):

And here is the beautiful Daphne of Mistborn gown in green, which comes with a matching vest:

And in this picture, Scarborough is wearing the Light of Sarin gown set with matching hat, in slate blue:

Finally, Scarborough is wearing the Windsor Palace gown in gold (this last dress is also one of the special Relay for Life designs available only at the Silvan Moon Designs store on the Aetherea sim):

I’d like to thank Solas NaGeala for so generously giving me the Linden dollars to purchase these six exquisitely made gowns. As you can see, I spent the money well!

Outfit Outlay: Free Medieval and Gothic Clothing by Solas

As Sansar’s first (and so far, only) fashion blogger, I have made it my mission to tell you all about the best fashions available in Sansar for your avatar.

Solas NaGealai, who is a well-known fashion designer in Second Life as the owner of BlueMoon Enterprise (SL storeblog) and the co-owner of Silvan Moon Designs (SL StoreSL MarketplaceFlickr), is one of my favourite avatar clothing designers. She puts a lot of time, energy, and talent into her clothing designs, and I wanted to showcase a few items that she is generously giving away for free from her store (her Sansar brand is called Lune Bleue).

First up is the beautifully detailed Lady Juliana Medieval Gown, which Vanity Fair is wearing at Nya Alchemi’s medieval tournament experience, S.L.A.R.P.:

And, on the other end of the spectrum, we have Solas’ striped goth top and matching layer skirt, to which I have added black wristbands by C3rb3rus (free!) and black Eden Bailarina flats by Kokoia (for sale for S$150, which works out to about US$1.50/CDN$1.89; click on each of the pictures below to see it in a larger size):

Then, I have switched it up a bit by taking off the wristbands and adding black sunglasses by Snow (also free!) and a goth nose chain by Agustine (S$65, or about 65 cents U.S./82 cents Canadian):

Be sure to pick up your freebies on the Sansar Store. Whether you are a medieval troubadour or a gothic rocker, Solas has got you covered!

Outfit Outlay: Lady of Avalon Medieval Gown

This lovely medieval gown for female avatars comes in two colours, lavender and teal blue. It’s the first clothing that Northern Kiara has put in her store. These dresses are only S$25 each, which is a real bargain!

These pictures were taken in today’s Pick of the Day, Amber Castle. Along with this beautiful gown, I am wearing a black headscarf by Agustine, which is free! It’s made in Marvelous Designer so you can adjust it to your liking. (Click each picture to see it full size.)
