With my first Pick of the Day of 2018, Mysterious Floating Stones, you get exactly what it says on the label: mysterious fluorescent rocks and boulders hovering gently mid-air.
The experience’s creator, named gfcprogramer, has created a desert feeling at sunset. It’s actually kind of meditative/mesmerizing to stand and watch these stones move up and down.
Well, as far as I was aware, there was no New Year’s Eve party in Sansar, so Vanity Fair hopped over to watch the Prim Drop at the Bay City Fairgrounds at midnight SL time (2:00 a.m. my time). I took this photo just as the countdown was nearing zero! I used to own land and have a house in Bay City, so the place has special memories for me.
