Three Floral and Watercolour T-Shirts for Female Avatars

Well, I’ve been busy this afternoon making women’s T-shirts! I finally settled on a more comfortable, roomier-fitting T-shirt design, and here are three new shirts for sale for only S$5 each on the Sansar Store!

There’s a light blue floral pattern:

And the same floral pattern in pink-and-red:

And finally, my favourite, a watercolour pattern!

The Urban Art Experience, Revisited

I noticed that Charmarley Nightfire has relisted his Urban Art Experience as updated, so I popped over a couple of times today, just to take a second look. (The first time I visited this morning, I encountered a newcomer to Sansar, who said he was connecting from Saudia Arabia!)

There’s lots of amazing urban art on display, as I reported on my first visit, including at least one new gallery. I took a few photos to give you a taste of what’s there, and to encourage you to make a visit yourself to this virtual art gallery. Where else could you see so much urban art all in one place? You’d have to travel the globe to see all the art in its original locations!

You enter a dimly-lit, meandering cave where fireflies dance near the entrance, and you discover several monochrome artworks which are on display by candlelight. If you’re visiting in desktop mode, you might find it a bit too dark, which means you could get lost. Follow the candles!

A side passage in the cave takes you to some colourful and playful murals:

You continue through, past a political Pinocchio mural where a war rocket replaces Pinocchio’s lying nose, and you exit the cave. Turn left and follow the stone wall, and you will find a new gallery, with a yellow “Warning: Area Under Construction” sign. As you follow the stone hallways, you come across windows opening out onto bitingly satirical cartoon images, each taking a potshot at corporate greed and amorality:

The only way that this splendid virtual art collection could be any better, would be if Charmarley added captions to the works on display, giving information about the artists who did the work. (I realize that in some cases the works are anonymous.)

If you haven’t been yet, or if you haven’t been lately, I would urge you to pay a visit. It’s definitely one of my Top Sixteen Sansar experiences!

Free Women’s T-Shirt!

Today, I spent a couple of hours working on a T-shirt for female avatars, this time with proper sleeves and a proper collar. I fiddled a lot with it, adjusting it here and there, and I think it turned out pretty well! My first try was a little too tight, so I made it 105% larger and that seemed to do the trick.

There’s only one small problem that I can find with it. When I wore my VR headset and looked at myself in third-person mode, then raised my avatar’s arms, I noticed that her skin poked through the cloth at the armpits and a little bit at the top of the shoulders. I need to figure out how to fix that problem, but in the meantime, I’m going to make a plain white (untextured) version of this women’s T-shirt available for FREE in the Sansar Store (here’s the link). You will need to press the Simulate Cloth button, and tug at the bustline and around the hemline of this T-shirt, to get it to fit your avatar properly!

Please accept this T-shirt as my Happy New Year present to you. I’ll keep tweaking it until I get a design that I’m 100% satisfied with and I’m willing to sell for actual Sansar dollars! I find creating clothing using Marvelous Designer for Sansar to be incredibly satisfying!

Sansar Store Spotlight: The Creations of C3rb3rus

You might be familiar with this airship. It is a popular addition to many Sansar experiences!

This wonderful vehicle, which comes in a static version for S$200 and one that follows a loop for S$800, is the creation of C3rb3rus, who has a number of interesting items in his store (here’s a link). He sells everything from vintage telephones to HazMat suits!

I especially love his Loki Mask, which has glowing eyes and an animated texture for the horns! It’s available for S$400, a steal for such a beautifully crafted avatar attachment.

I look forward to seeing what other wonderful and imaginative creations C3rb3rus comes up with! It’s even fun watching him create! He’s definitely an artist to watch in Sansar.
