Tonight I wanted to show you all of the saved outfits of my “Sansar supermodel” Vanity Fair—all 31 of them! This is like a history lesson in Sansar costuming, and these are some of my favourite costumes since the official launch of the fashion market in Sansar on December 18th, 2017. One of the pleasant surprises from today’s update of the Sansar client software was the return of two well-known and well-loved outfits originally created by Sansar Studios: the astronaut and the highlander outfits are now available for free in the clothing options available!
Previously, you had had to pay S$400 for the Highlander outfit and S$500 for the Astronaut outfit from the Sansar Store. These outfits, plus the cowboy/cowgirl outfit, were automatically removed from users’ inventories when the integration of Sansar with Marvelous Designer happened. I am delighted to see them return!
Unfortunately, the male highlander boots did not make it back, so I substituted a pair of Cora’s Ankle-Length Leather Boots in Dark Brown and they matched the outfit well. I added the Highlander men’s hairstyle (unfortunately, no longer available on the Sansar Store) and we’re ready to go hunting! (Click each picture for a larger size version.)
However, the astronaut helmet and boots did make it back with the outfit, so here’s the full look:

The key here is knowing which of the many materials settings you need to change. In this case, it is the albedo map you need to replace with a custom texture file.
