Time to bring out the soon-to-be famous Second Life supermodel 😉 Moesha Heartsong, to model some of today’s apparel, footwear and jewelry gifts!
Below, Moesha is wearing two gifts from JUMO: today’s gift of the gold and silver Stella jewelry set, plus the December 16th gift, the Sirena tied top and separate long skirt, which comes in a pattern to match the top plus the silver-grey version shown here. Remember that JUMO is one of the 12 Days of Christmas calendars where you can swoop down and pick up all the gifts at one time!
I leave you with the gift from Virtue, the Mireya outfit in grey and green (the Virtue group is free to join):

My final freebie comes from a 12 Days of Christmas calendar which I had not visited before today, that of the store No Shot (you do not need to join any group, just slap the calendar). This is another calendar where you can pick up all the previous days’ gifts at the same time!
This black-and-white check business outfit is today’s gift from the women’s Advent calendar at No Shot (there’s also a second Advent calendar for male avatars).
Happy freebie shopping!
UPDATE 10:44 a.m.: Today’s gift from Baby Monkey’s 12 Days of Christmas calendar is this Tied Cardigan, shown here with two previous presents from the same calendar, the Benina pants and the glossy platform pumps. Remember that you don’t have to visit the Baby Monkey store every day; you can choose to visit between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day, when you can pick up all twelve gifts at one time!
And today’s present from Entice is this Only Exception outfit in white and teal, a top (which comes in two patterns) and a matching skirt. I love how the most recent gifts from Entice are all in teal or aqua, so you can easily mix and match them! The Entice group is free to join.
Did you know that you can help support my work on this blog? Here’s how.
If you are looking for some fun Christmas outfits, the December round of the monthly MIIX shopping event has you covered, for free! Every month, MIIX has a free hunt, where you look for an object hidden among all the vendor booths.
This time around, you are looking for well-hidden Christmas stockings! Here’s the hunt key, so you know what you are looking for:
The gifts consist of men’s and women’s apparel and footwear by FurtaCor, unisex resizable hats, and even a couple of pieces of home decor! The men’s outfit consists of a Christmas cardigan and tie (in blue or green) dress pants (in red or black), and a nice pair of black oxford shoes:
Here’s one of the women’s outfits you can assemble from the MIIX hunt prizes, which include the Santa hat with blinking Christmas lights, the red lace choker, and even Rudolph-the-red-nosed-reindeer earrings!
Here’s a second look in green, complete with a knitted elf hat!
If you need a little help finding the stockings at the MIIX hunt, you might want to refer to my Top Six Tips for Successful Hunts in Second Life. Even if you are an experienced hunter, you still might learn a handy trick or two!
My fashion model today for all of these pictures (except the final one) is the newly-rechristened Moesha Heartsong*, a budding Second Life supermodel 😉 who is rocking the Maitreya Lara body she picked up at the recently-concluded 50% Off Sale at Maitreya! She is also wearing the Akeruka Lulu Bento mesh head, one of their group gifts I picked up a couple of years ago, plus the Octave hairstyle by Analog Dog.
Today’s gift from the Advent calendar at Virtue is this bright yellow Diana jumpsuit! I love it when stores offer non-Christmas items in their calendars, and this outfit is perfect for when you want to explore Second Life’s endless virtual summer. The Virtue group is free to join.
Here Moesha models the Pressure top in aqua from Entice, which is today’s present, along with yesterday’s gift of the Never Surrender pants in teal (which you can buy at Entice, along with all of the previous days’ Advent calendar gifts, for only L$50). The Entice group is free to join.
Next up is the Lily-Rose dress from Baby Monkey, with an optional belt, worn with yesterday’s gift of platform pumps. All apparel and footwear from the 12 Days of Christmas calendar at Baby Monkey comes with a three-colour mini-HUD, in pink, cream and chocolate brown, giving you a colour-coordinated capsule wardrobe!
You do not need to join any group to use this calendar, just pay L$1 for each gift and it will be automatically refunded. Remember that Baby Monkey is one of those calendars that allows you to visit between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day to pick up all the 12 Days of Christmas gifts at one time! Very convenient.
Below Moesha is wearing three different gifts: the daring cropped hoodie is from Vagrant (their group is free to join), the studded leggings are from Justice (the group is free to join), and the platform sneakers are today’s gift from NYNE Hair (this group is also free to join).
Here’s a closeup on those sneakers from NYNE, which are quite nice!
From Essenz comes these London shoes in a sand colour. The Essenz group costs L$350 to join, or if you prefer, non group members can buy them for only L$50. You can purchase all the previous days’ Advent calendar gifts for L$50 each, too!
I do have to say that 7 Deadly S[k]ins have been consistently knocking it out of the ballpark this year with their wonderful Advent calendar gifts! The store group costs L$1,000 to join, but it’s worth it. (Or, if you like, you can pick up all the previous days’ gifts for just L$25 each, using my daily Advent calendar blogposts as a guide.)
Today’s gift is a fatpack of Kamilla skins in both Omega appliers and Bakes on Mesh/system versions, in five lighter skin tones, including the caramel one shown here. I love the light dusting of freckles on the nose! This is a keeper.
Happy freebie shopping!
*By the way, I am still looking for someone who would like to inherit Moesha Heartsong via my will, which I am currently in the process of drawing up with my lawyer; more details here. It would please me greatly to know that Moesha will still be providing entertainment and enjoyment to a second owner after I am gone. Just be advised that Auntie Ryan still plans to live at least another quarter-century, sweetheart 😉
