Second Life Fashion: The Iracebeth of Crims Gown from Silvan Moon Designs at the Alice in Wonderland Event in Second Life, May 12th to 31st

The newest round of the Enchantment shopping event is here, with an Alice in Wonderland theme this time around. Bee Dumpling and Solas NaGealai, the owners of Silvan Moon Designs (SL StoreSL MarketplaceFlickr) have designed a truly glorious Queen of Hearts gown that will have you done up in royal style! You can wear it with or without the matching jacket. The texture work, as you can see, is stunning!

Of course, such a sumptuous gown deserves some gloriously over-the-top hair, so I paired the gown with the Yvette hairstyle from Tukinowaguma (TKW). Up and high and off the collar! You can purchase the entire fatpack, in dozens of shades, including a HUD to change the colours of the flowers, for only L$250.

This dress comes in the six colours as shown in the picture below. Each colour is L$450, or you can buy the entire fatpack for only L$2400.

Second Life Steals, Deals and Freebies: Alaskametro Wardrobe Staples Freebie Hunt for Female Avatars

Every stylish avatar has some wardrobe essentials: pieces that she turns to time and again to pull together a classic look. Alaskametro and the Free Dove freebie store have teamed up to provide a hunt for ten such wardrobe staples. Six of the items can be found by diligently hunting for the Alaskmetro shopping bags hidden all around the Free Dove freebie store, and another four (much easier to find!) can be found at the Alaskametro store. All are FREE (although you do have to join the Free Dove group to get the freebies hidden there; the group is free to join, however). The hunt will take place only during the month of May.

Each outfit staple comes with a HUD with three different textures. Here is a picture of one of my alts, wearing the T-shirt dress in a beautiful pastel pink:

This product is Omega System compatible, but you will need to purchase an Omega Installer to activate the plugin. It is available on the SL Marketplace for L$99 or (according to the notecard that came with the package) you can buy it in-world where it is L$50 with the Altamura group tag activated. (I was unable to find where in the Altamura store this was located, though.)

Here my alt is wearing the lightest skin tone of the four available with the Manuel body, with his hairbase and eyebrows tinted blond. He is also wearing:

Manuel will only be available at this price through May 13th, so you’d better hurry!

Note: I used the CalWL WindLight preset for the last three pictures, and someone told me on Facebook that I looked like a serial killer! So not the effect I wanted 🙁 so use the very first picture at the top of this blogpost to get a better sense of what the Manuel head looks like, thanks!
