Linden Lab Launches the Official Sansar Discord Server

We’ve been waiting for this for a while, and it’s finally here! Starting today, you can claim an account on the official Sansar Discord server. Discord is a popular way for people, especially gamers, to communicate via voice or text chat.

Why have a Discord server? As Linden Lab explains in the new Sansar Discord FAQ:

Discord acts as an extension of our community, allowing you to chat with other Sansar users, make friends, and plan meet-ups in real time. Discord works on the web, a desktop app, and a mobile app, so you can stay connected with the Sansar community wherever you are. Discord keeps you connected with the community, whether you are at home or on the go.

How do you get started? Easy! Here’s the link to start the account creation process.

Note that there has also been an unofficial Sansar Discord server, started by Bioblaze Payne, which has been very active over the past few months. That service will no doubt continue. There’s a few differences between the two services, for example, you can post images on the unofficial server but not the official one. Here’s a link to the blogpost where I talk about the unofficial Sansar Discord server, and provide a link for those of you who wish to join us there.

Between the official and unofficial servers, you’re pretty much covered! See you in Discord!
